GFWC hosts September meeting

Courtesy photos MANISTIQUE – GFWC Manistique Women’s Club recently held their September meeting at the Comfort Inn. Richard Parker, Manistique Middle and High School student and “My LEAD” participant, was the featured speaker.

Parker explained what he learned at the “MY LEAD” state conference and answered questions about how he will be able to apply skills he learned working on leadership projects while attending MHS.

Schoolcraft County Sheriff Paul Furman also gave a short presentation on the new jail millage proposal that will be on the November ballot.

Christine Sanders was honored as Club Member of the Month. President Sherri Krause shared that Sanders always been willing to help.
