mBank campaign shows support to Beacon House

MARQUETTE – mBank recently announced its newest community outreach campaign by donating $100 for each qualifying checking, savings or money market account it opens now through Oct. 31, 2018. Participating branches include all Upper Peninsula branches: Marquette, Negaunee, Ishpeming, Manistique, Escanaba, Newberry, Stephenson, and Sault St. Marie. This donation is part of an initiative started by mBank that allows you to show your support for Beacon House through your everyday banking.

Beacon House becomes a “Home away from home” for patients and families that travel across the U.P. to receive specialty medical care at U.P. Health System- Marquette and the Upper Peninsula Medical Center. The private, nonprofit, donation-based organization ensures that families never have to ask, “Where am I going to stay and how am I ever going to be able to afford it?” during a medical crisis. Beacon House is a charitable 501c3 organization and is solely reliant on donations.
