‘Adult Prom’ at Elks will benefit animal shelter

MANISTIQUE – Area residents are invited to join a night of fun at the “Adult Prom”. The formal evening will be held in the upper room of the Elks Lodge April 27.

The fun will begin at 6 p.m.

The evening will include hors d’oeurves and desserts, dancing, cash bar, raffles and a silent auction.

Cost to attend is $40 per couple, $25 individual in advance; $50 a couple at the door.

Tickets at the door will be limited.

Admission by ticket only.

Proceeds will benefit the Eva Burrell Animal Shelter.

Foster Grandparents to host meeting March 16

MANISTIQUE – The Schoolcraft County Foster Grandparents in-service meeting will be held March 16. The meeting takes place at 11 a.m. at the Manistique Senior Center, 101 Main St. in Manistique.

Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.

The Foster Grandparent Program is administered by the Menominee- Delta-Schoolcraft Community Action Agency.
