Christine E. Neadow Christine E. Neadow MANISTIQUE – Christine E. Neadow, 66, of Manistique, Mich., died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Schoolcraft Medical Care Facility in Manistique.

She was born April 26, 1951, in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of Charles and Rose (Feedar) Collison and attended Forest Home Elementary School in Milwaukee. She later graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee.

Christine moved to the Manistique area in 1970 following her high school graduation. She worked at the Tom Tom Bar in Cooks for many years where she eventually met her future husband, “Blackie.” She was later employed with the Schoolcraft Medical Care Facility as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

On Sept. 8, 1972, the former Christine E. Collison married Francis “Blackie” Neadow in Manistique. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2014.

She enjoyed crocheting, hunting and fishing. She especially enjoyed coconut popcorn. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family whom she loved very much.

Christine is survived by her children, John (Melonie) Neadow of Manistique, Jodi Bosanic (Michael Schnurer) of Manistique, Angela (Terry) Zellar of Germfask, Robin Mulligan of Thompson and Ron Neadow of Indian River, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles (Maryan) Collison of Burlington, Wis., Cindy (David) Silkworth of Manistique, Rosemarie Niezgoda of Indian Lake, Lori (Doug) Erickson of Manistique and Kathy Collison of Wilson, Mich.; and her brotherin law Jack MacDonald of Cooks, Mich.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Neadow and Randy Neadow; daughter-in-law Shelda; sister, Marty MacDonald; and her brother-in-law’s, James Hill and Jim Niezgoda.

Services will be held and announced by the family at a later date.
