Annual Art and Hobby Show set for Saturday

ENGADINE – The Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club will host its annual Art and Hobby Show Aug. 2 and 3 from 1-4 p.m., at the HSC Activities Center in Engadine. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

The work of many artists, using a variety of mediums, will be on display and available for purchase.

New features this year include a Children’s Art Tent where children of all ages can create their own masterpieces, get a face “tattoo”, as well as help build a huge “children’s nest” from yarn and material scraps.

There will be live music provided on Saturday and Sunday.

Those attending will have the opportunity to win a piece of art or a homemade item donated by exhibitors with the proceeds donated to Engadine Consolidated Schools.

The drawings will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m.
