Great Lakes Rodeo planned in Marquette

MARQUETTE – The Great Lakes Rodeo Royalty is ready to open the chutes for the 9th Annual Great Lakes Rodeo, at the Marquette County Fairgrounds. They will be back raising funds for the youth in the community as they ride bulls and broncos, run barrels, and rope cows on Father’s Day weekend, June 14 and 15.

All proceeds for the Great Lakes Rodeo go to support Youth Development in Marquette County. Over the past eight years the rodeo has donated over $20,000.

Fathers will get into the rodeo for free on Sunday when accompanied by family.

Rodeo tickets are available in advance at Lake Superior Partnership and Greater Ishpeming Negaunee Chamber. The cost is $10 for an adult (13 and older) and $5 for children 10 and under.

At the gate, tickets will be $12 for adults or $6 for children 10 and under. Weekend camping and stalls are available.
