Lenore M. Prezsnar
She was born Dec. 28, 1933, in Escanaba, Mich., the daughter of Nicholas and Ida (Zimmel) Thennes and attended school in Garden. She was a graduate of Garden High School.
On Oct. 4, 1968, she married Edward W. Prezsnar in Marinette, Wis., and they made their home in Garden. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2012.
Lenore owned and operated the Clip and Curl Beauty Shop in Garden for 20 years.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Garden and enjoyed reading and playing cards.
Lenore is survived by her sons, Nicholas Roder of Garden, Mitchell
(Beverly) Roder of Olympia, Wash., Scott (Sandra) Roder of Green Bay, Wis., Neil (Lidia) Roder of San Diego, Calif. and Jay Roder of Kalamazoo, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; sister, Patty Tatrow of Garden; brother, John “Jack” (Dorothy) Thennes of Garden; along with nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Irvin Thennes and Nicholas Thennes.
Private family services were held.
Burial will be in the New Garden Cemetery at Garden Township.
