Methodist women to hold April breakfast

MANISTIQUE – The United Methodist Women of Manistique First United Methodist Church, 190 N. Cedar St., will host the annual “Reflection Breakfast” April 12, at 9 a.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.

Featured speaker will be Bette Jahn, retired Manistique school teacher. The program will include seasonal readings and special music.

There is no charge to attend the event, which is open to all women.

State employee retiree meeting set for April 7

ESCANABA – The Upper Peninsula Chapter 16 of the State Employee Retirees Association will hold its regular meeting April 7 at 1:30 p.m.

The meeting will take place in the State Office Building in Escanaba.
