MDOT schedules annual meetings throughout UP

Schoolcraft County meet set in Escanaba

LANSING – The Michigan Department of Transportation has scheduled a series of public meetings to discuss the department’s Five-Year Road and Bridge Program, the State Transportation Improvement Program, and the State Long Range Plan.

Three meetings are scheduled in locations throughout MDOT’s Superior Region to accommodate residents of the region’s 15 counties:

-Kincheloe (Chippewa, Luce and Mackinac counties), April 22, 1 p.m. at Kinross Charter Township Hall, 4884 West Curtis St.

-Escanaba (Alger, Delta, Dickinson, Marquette, Menominee and Schoolcraft counties), April 25, 1 p.m. at the M-Tech Building, Room 2020, Bay Collefge campus.

-Houghton (Baraga, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw and Ontonagon counties), April 28, 1 p.m., Houghton City Hall, 616 Sheldon Ave.
