Daniel M. Sears
He was born April 22, 1964, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Martin J. and Judith M. (Pattyn) Sears. He attended St. Juliana Grade School in Detroit, before moving with his family to Germfask in 1975. He attended and graduated from Manistique High School.
Daniel in his younger years served as an alter boy at St. Juliana Catholic Church.
He loved his dogs Buddy, Del and King, and loved being outdoors hunting, fishing and working on and riding his mini bike. Daniel was an all around handyman and mechanic. He further enjoyed listening to the oldies and the Detroit Tigers on the radio.
Daniel is survived by his brothers and sister, Clarence (Rhonda) Sears, Christine (David) Brock, David (Rachel Bonacorsi) Sears, Christopher (Darcy Hamlin) Sears and Douglas (Michelle) Sears, all of Germfask; seven nephews; four nieces; one great-nephew; one great-niece; two aunts, Carole Grzelka and Rita Sears; one uncle, Danny Sears; and many many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 15, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Germfask.
Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m., in the church, with Pastor J.D. Livermore officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Germfask Township in the spring.
