From one vet... ...to another

The local Disabled American Veterans organization, Chapter 26, recently donated $200 to the VFW Post 4420 building fund. The money was raised through the sale of DAV “forget-me-nots”. The DAV regularly contributes to other veteran organizations, including a recent $1,000 donation to the U.P. Honor Flight and $600 to the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette. The group also uses funds to help veterans in need of emergency assistance.
