Up 14-8 at the end of the opener, the Brave scored 25 second quarter points to open up a 39-14 half time lead on their way to a 75-26 win over Big Bay de Noc.

Hitting just over 50 percent of their shots, everyone on the roster netted points for the Braves in the win. Lexi Hongisto led all scorers with 15 points, 10 of which came in the second period. Jess Beaudry netted 12 points, eight in the same stretch.

Big Bay was led by Samantha Sundling, who finished with 10 points. She scored seven of the Bears eight points in the opening period.

In addition to Sundling, Chelsea Thompson scored five points, Tiana Harris four, Mariah Yonker four, Patience Harris two, and Cassidy Cayemberg one.

The Lady Bears will host Enga dine in a make-up game Friday and host Rapid River on Feb. 3.
