CBC event list is long
Included on the list of activities are:
-Manistique CBC Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament is set for March 29 at the Manistique High School Gymnasium.
The five-on-five, one day basketball tournament is for boys and girls in grades 4, 5, or 6. Participation cost is $100 per team.

-A Celebrity Bartender and Auction event will be held at Marley’s Bar and Grill on Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the CBC Fund Drive.
-Habitat ReStore Pack and Ship will donate $1 to CBC for every package shipped FedEx now through April 11. Pack and Ship is located at the Habitat ReStore in the Blanchard Center. Business hours are Mon. - Fri. from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
-Manistique Go-Figure will hold ear candling on Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon. Proceeds will benefit the 2014 C.B.C. Fund Drive

-The 2014 C.B.C. Fund Drive Talent Search is underway. If you would like to showcase your talent on April 13 during the CBC Fund Drive, contact Jill Johnson via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
-A co-ed volleyball tournament will be held on April 13 in the Richard Bonifas Gymnasium. The tournament is held annually as a special event for CBC.
The six member teams must include one male, but no more than three males to make it co-ed.
The tournament begins at 12:30 p.m. Entry fee is $100 per team.
The proceeds from the competition are presented to CBC on Sunday afternoon during the live telethon broadcast going on in the high school auditorium.
Players interested in registering a team are asked to contact Therese Schalm at 450-1323.
-A swim-a-thon will be hosted at Manistique High School during the CBC Fund Drive. The event will take place on April 13 from 1-3 p.m.
Participants should ask for sponsorship before the event. Pledges can be turned in the day of the event at the pool office or to the high school office anytime the week following the event. Sponsorship forms must be brought the day of the event so pledges can be recorded.
Participants can be any age and swim as many or few laps as they wish. Swimmers do not have to be present the entire two hours. Lifeguards will be provided.
-A bake sale sponsored by the Manistique Senior Center, will take place on April 13 during the CBC Fund Drive. The bake sale will be held at the Manistique High School Cafeteria. All proceeds donated to CBC.
