Jesse D. Schnurer Jesse D. Schnurer LAKE WALES, Fla., – Mr. Jesse D. Schnurer, 86, of Lake Wales, Fla., and long time resident of Manistique, Mich., passed away at his home on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013.

He was born on July 13, 1927. He married Eleanore Gray on July 14, 1929, in Manistique. He owned Schnurer Excavators before moving to Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lillian (Brock); two brothers, Keith and Owen; and one sister, Cecilia Goudreau; and brother-in-law, John Goudreau.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eleanore (Gray) Schnurer; one daughter, Patricia (Leslie) Thomas of Lake Wales; three sons, Jesse of Wisconsin, Mickey (Laurie) of Manistique and Randy of Lake Wales. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like any donations be sent to them to be donated in his name, to one of the many charities that had helped throughout the years.

Services will be private.
