‘Evening with Santa’ coming to MHS Dec. 4

MANISTIQUE – Santa Claus is coming to town! The Manistique High School class of 2014 will host a “Family Evening with Santa” fundraiser on Dec. 4.

The event begins at 6 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium and includes a story from Santa and “Mrs. Claus” and a sing-a-long of Christmas songs led by the student “elves”. Children will have the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap to share their Christmas wishes and receive a treat.

Parents are welcome to photos of their children with Santa.

The event will also feature a giveaway – one Nextbook 7-inch dual core tablet with 8 GB of memory will go to one lucky attendee.

Tickets will be sold during the day of the event at both Emerald Elementary and MHS and again at the door.

The cost to attend is $3 per person.

All proceeds go toward the class of 2014 all night graduation party.
