The Zion Lutheran Church, Tanzanian Companion Church Committee, chaired by Bonnie Groh, recently hosted guests from Tanzanian. During their visit to the area, they took the opportunity to tour the Schoolcraft Medical Care Facility and participated in an informal question and answer session over coffee and cake with elders. The first of several craft shows and holiday bazaars recently took place at the First Baptist Church. Several area crafters were in attendance with everything from kitchen scrubbies to custom made jewelry. Showcasing custom knit socks was Judy Provo (right). With her from left to right are Jo-Nell Rubick and Sandy Young. The Manistique Senior Center Bazar is set for Nov. 16.
