David L. Sundling
He was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Isabella, Mich., the son of Carl and Anna (Sabo) Sundling and attended school in Nahma.
David had been a resident of the Manistique area since 1967 and was employed as a woods-worker and mechanic.
He was one of Jehovah’s Witness’. He loved to hunt, fish, work on cars, and work in his garden. Most importantly, he enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his family.
David is survived by his son, David (Sharon) Sundling of Manistique; daughters, Laura D. McLear of Manistique and Terri (Keith) Metty of Manistique; grandchildren, Ryan McLear, Raiann Metty and Brandon Metty; one great-grandchild; brothers, Carl (Violet) Sundling of Manistique, Ralph Sundling of Manistique and Roger (Virginia) Sundling of Ensign; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Harry Sundling; sister, Nancy Sundling; granddaughter, Angie McLear; and longtime life-mate, Carol Kinsaul.
Visitation will be held from 4-5 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, at Messier- Broullire Funeral Home in Manistique. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m., at the funeral home with Mr. Randy Sanville officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
Burial will be held in Moss Lake Cemetery at Isabella.
