8 p.m. – Do you have a talent for Michigan trivia? Meet the Park Explorer Guide at the Beach Shelter for a campfire, contest and stories from the past.

Big Spring History

1 p.m. – Visit with the Park Explorer Guide at Kitch-iti-kipi at Palms Book State Park to learn about regional history.

Woods Wander

7 p.m. – There’s more to the forest than trees. Meet the Park Explorer Guide by the first bathrooms for a closer look at the woods.

Stewardship

5 p.m. – Meet the Park Explorer Guide and the camp hosts at the camp host site for information on preserving our park heritage, history and natural resources.

Tremendous

7 p.m. – Spruce up your camping experience with a moderate hike. Meet near the first bathrooms and don’t forget the bug spray.

Greener in 30 Minutes

5 p.m. – Reduce, recycle, repurpose, pre-cycle, up-cycle and reuse. Meet with the Park Explorer Guide at the beach shelter to create a unique camping keepsake.

Crepuscular Critters

7 p.m. – Discover which of Michigan’s magnificent mammals are active as the sun sets. Visit with the Park explorer Guide at the Beach Shelter for this investigation.
