Devlin Beaton Devlin Beaton Bolton featured at girls basketball camp

MANISTIQUE – The Emerald girls’ basketball program will be holding their Manistique Girls Basketball Camp beginning July 29 through Aug. 2.

Featured at camp will be WNBA Hall of Famer and Olympic Gold Medalist Ruthie Bolton.

Attendees will participate in competitive games, skill competitions, drills and fun. The program will run daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to girls in grades 4-8. Camp cost is $100.

Titans win second tournament on road

CHICAGO, Ill. – Devlin Beaton, a member of the Power Play Titans Travel Lacrosse team, played in the Pipe City Lacrosse Tournament in Chicago, Ill., on July 13-14.

The team went undefeated for the second straight tournament and won the U-15 Silver Class Championship against teams from throughout the Midwest. The Titans went 7-0 for the tournament and won the championship by a score of 7-0. This is the team’s third straight championship appearance.

Devlin is the son of seasonal Manistique residents Dan and Lori Beaton.
