Demars earns degree in business from PCC

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Jenna Marie Demars earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a concentration in office administration at the May 8 commencement ceremony held at Pensacola Christian College.

Jenna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Demars of Manistique.

Ladies Retreat set for Sept. 6-8 in Pembine

PEMBINE, Wisc. – Ladies Retreat, a non-profit organization will be holding its annual retreat Sept. 6-8, at the Lake Lundgren Bible Camp in Pembine, Wisc. The organization began in 1964 and will be celebrating 50 years in 2014.

This year’s speaker will be Cynthia Ruchti. Ruchti has 33 years of on-air radio ministry experience and her books have been recognized by RT Reviewers’ Choice Award, Retailers’ Choice Award, Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence, and Carol Award nominations, among others, including a Family Fiction Readers’ Choice Award.
