The couple has two daughters; Dana (Jim) Lafrenz of Walcott, Iowa and Jill (Scott) Wagner of Crystal Falls, Mich. Their seven grandchildren are Debbra, Brandon, Wyatt, Colby, Hannah, Dalaney and Scotty. They have one great-grandson, Kyler.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, the couple celebrated both milestones with 37 family members at the resort.
