Artisans planning luncheon and tour

GARDEN – The Salad Luncheon and Tour sponsored by the Village Artisans will take place on July 20.

This year’s tour features a yoga studio, with short presentations given by Cindy Coccia. Another studio, in the home of Tana and Robert Leckson, will feature a music studio and garden.

In a new studio, “For the Love of Art”, run by Terri McKeage, children will be participating in arts and crafts.

Rounding out the tour is the Big Bay de Noc Fishery, located in Van’s Harbor on Garden Bay. The fishery has been in operation for decades and now trades internationally.

Donation for the Luncheon and Tour is $10. Tickets and brochure maps may be obtained at the Garden Gallery, 6367 State Street in Garden beginning at 10 a.m. on July 20. The tour will run from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., with lunch served from 11a.m. – 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the event help the Village Artisans sponsor enrichment programs in the community and at the school.
