Craft Camping
3 p.m. – Meet the Park Explorer
Guide at the beach shelter to create
a unique keepsake of your camping stay.
July 12
Discovery Zone
4 p.m. – Visit with the Park Explorer Guide at the beach for a special peek into nature with stories
about the wide wild outdoors.
Recycling
5 p.m. – Meet the Park Explorer
Guide at the beach shelter and find
methods for a green camp and a
green lifestyle
Night Sky Watch
9 p.m. – A variety of objects fill
the night. Join the Park Explorer
Guide at the beach in front of the
Beach Shelter for a light free opportunity to view stars, planets,
and more. Bring a comfortable seat
and bug spray.
July 13
Drum Circle at the Big Spring
9 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Celebrate nature and community.
Big Spring History
12 p.m. – Visit with the Park
Explorer Guide at Kitch-iti-kipi
at Palms Book State Park to learn
about regional history on a raft ride
over the crystal clear water.
Special Craft Time at the
Camp Host
2 p.m. – Make it and take it fun.
Special Guests at the Camp
Host.
7 p.m. – Sweet Apiary Information Meet at the first bathrooms near
the camp host unless otherwise
stated. Adults and children welcome. Programs are free and open
to all. Be prepared for mosquitoes.
