Digging in

Above, members of Girl Scout Brownie Troop 5271 work on a service project last week. The girls chose the playground across from the marina, what they referred to as ‘Pirate Playground’. They held a bake sale and raised $263 to purchase a new slide and also to buy materials to place mulch and re-attach bridge entrances. The second graders were working to acquire their ‘Journey Badge’.
