What in the World
11 a.m. – Meet the Park Explorer
Guide at Palms Book State Park to
uncover the mystery of the week.
This program will encourage the
naturalist in all.
June 20
Night Walk
8 p.m. – Join the Park Ranger at
the first bathrooms for a nocturnal
trek in search of the critters who
call the night their day.
June 21
Wild Outside
3 p.m. – Visit with the Park Explorer Guide at the beach for a special peek into nature with stories
about the wild wild outdoors.
MI Campfire
8 p.m. – Do you have a talent
for Michigan trivia? Meet the Park
Explorer Guide at the Beach Shelter for a campfire, contest, and stories

from the past.
June 22
The Big Spring
1 p.m. – Visit with the Park Explorer Guide at Kitch-iti-kipi at
Palms Book State Park to learn
about regional history on a raft ride
over the crystal clear water.
Geo Cache
5 p.m. – Do you know your way
around the woods? Don’t get lost –
join the Park Explorer Guide at the
first bathrooms to find out if you’re
moving in the right direction in
this fun 40 minute game.
Meet at the first bathrooms near
the camp host unless otherwise
stat-ed. Adults and children welcome. Programs are free and open
to all. Be prepared for mosquitoes.
