Gregory C. Dougan

GULLIVER – Gregory Carroll Dougan, 65, of Burrell Road, Gulliver, Mich., passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Mich.

Greg was born June 21, 1947, in Little Rock, Ark., the son of William Carroll and Juniata Mae (Daily) Dougan. He was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School.

He proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. Greg was a private pilot, working for Frog Aviation. In the fall of 2011, he moved to Gulliver.

Greg enjoyed his flying, wood carving, doing metal fabrication and farming.

He is survived by his sister,

Sonja Dougan of Gulliver; and his special friend, Marilyn Sevarns also of Gulliver. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 24, at Fairview Cemetery in Manistique, with Elder Charles Kinsaul officiating and the Schoolcraft County Veterans presenting military honors.
