MGH is warning of scam

MARQUETTE – Marquette General Hospital officials are warning residents of a reported phone scam involving callers identifying themselves as the MGH Radiology Department staff.

According to individuals who have reported the calls to MGH, a recorded message instructs the listener to call Marquette Radiology at an “800” number. When the call recipient dials the phone number, they are told that to obtain prizes they must supply credit card information.

Marquette General Hospital officials are reminding the pubic that they do not soliciting credit card information over the telephone.
