SMH Auxiliary dinner to take place on April 15

MANISTIQUE – The spring Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital Auxiliary dinner will take place on April 15 at the Upper Crust CafĂ© at 6 p.m. Sandy Patrick, owner of “Aunt Sandy’s Health Food Store” will be the speaker.

Those planning to attend should register at the People’s Store before noon on April 13. The cost of the dinner is $10. Call 341-6371 for more information.

Schoolcraft motorized trails assoc. to meet

MANISTIQUE – The newlymerged Schoolcraft County Motorized Trails Association will hold its next meeting on April 18. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the Clubhouse, located at 300 N Delta Ave.

Voting to approve the by-laws will take place. New members are welcome.

Camp meeting set for Sons of Union Veterans

MARQUETTE – The Albert and James Lyon Camp of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will hold their bi-monthly camp meeting on April 6, at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held in the board room on the basement level of the DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans, 425 Fisher Street, Marquette.

Caregiver Support Group plans monthly meet

MANISTIQUE – The monthly Caregiver Support Group, offered to anyone involved with the care giving of someone with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia, will meet at the Schoolcraft County Medical Care Facility on April 16 at 4 p.m.
