Monthly pasty sale to be held April 10, 11

MANISTIQUE – The women of Manistique First United Methodist Church will hold a monthly pasty sale April 10 and 11, at the church, 190 N. Cedar St.

Pasties will now be made with rutabaga and cost $3.50 each.

Supplies are limited, so early orders are suggested. Call 341- 6662 to place orders or for more information.

Amity group planning meeting, presenter

MANISTIQUE – The Manistique Amity Group will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. on April 10 at the Presbyterian Church on Main St. in Manistique.

This month’s speaker is Terri Grout, executive director of the Alger Conservation District. Terri will speak on designing a pollinator garden with native flowers. Pencils and graph paper will be available for attendees to design gardens.

Friends and visitors are invited to join members.

This month, members are asked to bring donations for the Eva Burrell Animal Shelter. For questions call 341-7444.
