Letitia V. Colegrove
She was born April 9, 1914, in Engadine, Mich., the daughter of Otto Joseph II and Christine Augustine (Deraiche) Terrian.
On Oct. 1, 1930, the former Letitia Violet Terrian married James “Hank” Colegrove in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. They made their home in the Gulliver, Mich., area. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1975. Letitia was employed as a cook at the Blaney Park Resort for over 20 years. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, crossstitch and visiting with family.
Letitia is survived by her children, Geraldine Lockhart of Muskegon, Mich, Deloris (George) Smith of Gulliver, Millie (Ronald) Johnson of Manistique and Ronald Colegrove of Muskegon; daughterin law, Geraldine Colegrove of Manistique; sister-in-law, Alveda Terrian of Gulliver; 22 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Clarence Colegrove and Richard Colegrove; daughter, Alice Ostrander; grandsons, Vernon Ostrander, Bryan Ostrander and Shane Colegrove; sons-in-law, Robert Lockhart and Vernon Ostrander; and her daughter-inlaw, Ann Marie Colegrove.
In keeping with Letitia’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Manistique.
