Retired school meet to take place at VFW

MANISTIQUE – The Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will meet March 13 at the VFW Hall on Maple Street.

A breakfast buffet will be served beginning at 10 a.m. Mark Rhode, from Putvin Health Mart Drug Store, will present the program, “Ask the Pharmacist”, sharing current information and answering related questions.

Methodist pasty sale scheduled for March

MANISTIQUE – The women of Manistique First United Methodist Church will hold their monthly pasty sale March 13 and 14, at the church, 190 N. Cedar St.

Supplies are limited, so early orders are suggested. Call 341- 6662 to place orders or for more information.

Foster grandparents to hold in-service

MANISTIQUE – The Schoolcraft County Foster Grandparent program Policy Advisory Council in-service meeting will be held on March 8, 11:15 a.m. at the Manistique Senior Center

Regional blood drive at Blanchard Center

MANISTIQUE – A U.P. Regional Blood Drive will be held in Manistique on March 13 from 1 – 5:15 p.m. at the Blanchard Center, 401 Deer St.
