Support group has new meeting location

ESCANABA – The Southern Upper Peninsula Chapter of the Compassionate Friends will meet on Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to anyone who has had a child die in their family.

The meeting will be held in the front conference room at Escanaba High School, 500 South Lincoln Road. The meetings are held monthly on the fourth Thursday.

Compassionate Friends is a nonprofit self-help bereavement support organization for families that have experienced the death of a child.
