Living in history

Courtesy photo Courtesy photo The third graders from Mrs. Erickson’s class at St. Francis de Sales School recently hosted their second annual “Living Museum”. This year, the museum had a “Michigan History” theme, focusing on historical figures who made Michigan their home. At the museum, the students dressed in costume and stood statue-still until their “play” button was pressed. When pressed, the “statues”came to life and told their life stories to visiting classes and parents. At right, Paige Rochefort poses as Bishop Frederick Baraga.
