Fourth Honor Fight planned

ESCSANABA – The Upper Peninsula Honor Flight is planning another flight this spring. Mission IV will leave from Delta County Airport, Escanaba on May 1 at 7:30 a.m.

Approximately 75 veterans and their guardians will visit the memorials in Washington, D.C. and return home that evening at 8:30 p.m.

The goal of the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight is to take all interested WWII veterans. To date, 237 Upper Peninsula WWII veterans, ranging in age from 85 to 100 years old, have participated in an Honor Flight.
