mBank makes promotions

MANISTIQUE – mBank recently announced the following promotions:

Linda Bolda, was promoted to senior vice president – human resources director. Bolda has been with mBank for nearly 15 years, most recently as vice president – human resources manager. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in human resource management and a Master of Business Administration in human resource management from American Intercontinental University. She has 22-plus years in management roles with extensive professional training in many aspects of human resource management. She will continue to be responsible for bankwide human resource policies, procedures and programs within the context of overall company objectives.

Gregory Schuetter was promoted to senior vice president – Upper Peninsula commercial lending manager. A native of Manistique, Schuetter has been with mBank for nearly eight years, most recently as first vice president – commercial lending manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Ferris State University and has over seven years of extensive professional training and experience in the areas of credit, commercial banking and management.

In his new role, he will be responsible for managing a team of commercial lenders and the commercial loan portfolio in the U.P. to ensure prudent client growth is achieved within the commercial loan and deposit segments in accordance with company strategic directives. Schuetter serves on the board of directors for both the Schoolcraft County Economic Development Authority and the Schoolcraft Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and is also a member of Manistique Area Kiwanis and Schoolcraft County Chamber of Commerce.

Kendra Lander has been promoted to branch sales manager – Manistique. She has been with mBank for five years, most recently working in deposit operations before accepting her new position. Prior to mBank, Landers worked at a local credit union for nine years in various positions. In her new role, she will assume responsibility of branch sales and operations in the Manistique main office. She is a member the Manistique area Kiwanis Club.

Sondra Casey was promoted to commercial processor/credit file manager. Casey has been with mBank for nearly 17 years. She holds an associate’s degree from Bay de Noc Community College. She has worked in several departments throughout the bank including positions as a teller, operations specialist and as a Control Law Accelerator processor. She will be active in the management of commercial loan processing and the organization and safekeeping of commercial loan information.
