Girls’ swim succeeds against Gladstone

MANISTIQUE – The Manistique Emerald Swim and Dive Team played host to the Gladstone Braves last week. The boys beat a very small Gladstone team 67-11, while the girls fought until the final match, eventually losing to the Braves 84-80.

“It came down to the last event, but Gladstone proved to be a little bit deeper as a team,” Coach Beth Aldrich said. “We had a good showing in the freestyle events, but struggled with some other strokes.”
