Jean Cowan-Cotton, 61, Lakewood Lane, Marquette, charged with driving 60 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone (12/12). Assessed $100.

Gerald Louis Silkworth, 28, Spielmacher Road, Cooks, pleaded guilty in 93rd District Court to reckless driving (11/12). He was assessed $50 state costs, $140 statute fine, $150 probation oversight fees, $75 crime victim rights assessment, $210 statute costs, $625 total. He was sentenced to serve 35 days in the Schoolcraft County Jail with credit for one day served applied. The balance will be held over six month’s probation. Optional jail term 35 days.

Gerald Louis Silkworth, 28, Spielmacher Road, Cooks, pleaded guilty in 93rd District Court to operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked license (12/12). He was assessed $50 state costs, $54 statute fine, $75 crime victim rights assessment, $82 statute costs, $261 total. Optional jail term 12 days.

Chasity Josephine Hursh, 28, Michigan Avenue, Manistique, pleaded guilty in 93rd District Court to anti-blight ordinance (237 of 1995) (4/12). She was assessed $50 state costs, $120 ordinance fine, $75 crime victim rights assessment, $245 total. Must also clean up blight to compliance of blight ordinance or serve 12 days. Optional jail term 12 days.
