Bear houndsmen to host banquet

ESCANABA – The Upper Peninsula Bear Houndsmen Association will hold its annual banquet on March 2, at the Terrace Bay Inn in Escanaba. The UPBHA meets annually in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to promote the sport of bear hunting with hounds and to support its membership.

Group membership is derived from the entire state, both in the Upper and Lower Peninsulas.

Tickets prices are: adults $45, juniors $25 (ages 12 to 17), and children $15 (11 and under). The banquet begins at 2 p.m.

The afternoon program includes informative and entertaining speakers, a raffle and full-service dinner/banquet. Banquet order forms are available online. The banquet ticket price includes a one-year membership to the UPBHA.
