George Michael Burns, 23, Highway M-149, Cooks, charged with driving 90 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone and driving without motorcycle endorsement (8/12). Assessed $240 and $215 respectively.

Joseph Dale Dusseault, 17, Third Street, Manistique, charged with driving while license suspended (10/12). Assessed $275.

Megan Rose Besaw, 33, Quail Street, Gwinn, charged with failure to yield at signed intersection (11/12). Assessed $115.

Tammy Lynn Barker, 47, Houghton Avenue, Manistique, charged with vehicle registration violation (8/12). Assessed $160.

Curtis Stanley Norton, 68, Schnurer Road, Manistique, pleaded guilty in 93rd District Court to taking deer out of season (11/12). He was sentenced to serve five days in the Schoolcraft County Jail and must complete 60 hours of community service. He was assessed $50 state costs, $10 conservation fee, $180 statute fine, $75 crime victim rights assessment, $1,000 conservation restitution, $270 statute costs, $1,585 total. Weapon forfeited for four years. Optional jail term 90 days.

Spencer Todd Burns, 23, Lake Street, Manistique, pleaded guilty in 93rd District Court to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (10/12). He was assessed $50 state costs, $100 state police expense reimbursement, $570 statue costs, $75 crime victim rights assessment, $380 statute fine, $300 probation oversight fee, $1,475 total. He was sentenced to serve 93 days in the Schoolcraft County Jail with credit for two days served applied. The balance will be held over 12 month’s probation. He must also complete 60 hours of community service. Optional jail term 93 days.
