CUPPAD awards area mini grants

ESCANABA – The CUPPAD Regional Commission and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, is conducting a second round of grant funding for local art mini-grants.

There is $6,030 available for POD grants and $9,500 available for project grants. Michigan nonprofit organizations, schools and municipalities are eligible to apply. Grant activity must take place between March 1 and Sept. 30.

Applicants to the Mini-grant Program must use the MCACA online application at mcaca. egrant.net. Applications must be submitted online by Feb. 1.
