Lady Bears unable to grab win

Drop game to visiting Braves Tuesday night

GARDEN – A three-point first quarter led to an eventual loss at home for the Lady Bears Tuesday night.

Trailing by 17 points following the opener, Big Bay dropped a 78-29 decision to the visiting Gladstone Braves.

Chelsea Thompson led the Bears, who trailed by 27 points at the half, in scoring. Thompson hit three of four shots from the floor at the three-point range, finishing with 13 points.

Samantha Sundling added six points, Rachel Leckson six, and Jordyn Bradshaw and Holly Sevenn had two each. The Lady Bears take on Hannahville tonight.
