Red Cross to host courses

December classes will take place in Escanaba

ESCANABA – The American Red Cross in Delta and Schoolcraft Counties is offering the following courses in December.

The First Aid and CPR/AED courses teach people how to perform CPR and use an AED (automated external defibrillator), what to do if someone is choking, and how to prevent and respond to other emergencies until advanced medical help arrives. Course participants also learn how to control bleeding as well as how to care for seizures and other sudden illnesses.

All classes are held at the Escanaba Office, located at 504 1st Avenue North.

December Classes:

Adult CPR/AED, $70, Dec. 10, 6 - 9 p.m.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/ CPR/AED, $110, Dec. 3 and 4, 6-9 p.m. or Dec. 17 and 18, 6-9 p.m.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/ CPR/AED Review, $90, Dec 8, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or Dec. 22, 9 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.
