MANISTIQUE – Wanda Lemaster, of Manistique, recently earned her Black belt in karate at the Bushido Karate Dojo in Manistique.

Lemaster has been a student of the Bushido Dojo for over four years and took her practical exam for both weapons as well as karate.

She is the first Shodan (first degree black belt) that has trained from the beginning at the Bushido Karate Dojo and the first to be tested for her black belt in both weapons and karate at the same time.

“We are very proud of Wanda and her accomplishments and look forward to her continued training and inspiration at the Bushido Dojo,” said Sensei Dave Flores.
