Donald C. Hawley Donald C. Hawley Donald C. Hawley, 77, of Manistique, Mich., passed away Oct. 9, 2012, at Marquette General Hospital.

He was born July 25, 1935, to Donald and Eldora (Beahm) Hawley in Pardeeville, Wis. Don attended Union Grove High School before joining the Navy. He served in the Korean War and was stationed in the Philippines. He was an active member of V.F.W. Post 4420 in Manistique.

Don was a truck driver and drove for many companies over the years.

Don is survived by his three children: Dawn (Charles) Bauer of Racine, Wis., Donald of Hamilton, Wash., and David of Las Vegas, Nev. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; his sister Patsy Carlson of Catawba, Wis.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Delores Halbur; and his daughter-inlaw, Karine.

Don has been cremated and his final resting place will be Veteran’s Memorial Cemetary in Dover, Wis.

In accordance of Don’s wishes, no services were held.
