Montgomery earns degree


Katherine Montgomery Katherine Montgomery LANSING – Katherine Montgomery, of Grand Ledge, Mich., graduated magna cum laude on Jan. 21, 2012 from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She made the Dean’s List and the Honor Roll each term she was at Cooley, and earned Certificates of Merit in various areas.

Katherine graduated eighth out of a class of 351 students. She was sworn in as a member of the State Bar of Michigan in May and now serves as an Assistant Attorney General for the Michigan Department of Attorney General.

Katherine is the daughter of George and Laurie Montgomery of Rapid, River, Mich., formerly of Monroe, and the granddaughter of Ruth Meyer of Monroe.
