Tasting it out



Emerald Elementary recently capped off a 10-day activity challenge and MEAP testing with a school-wide food tasting event on Friday. The Emerald Wellness Team hosted the event using a Michigan Farm to School Planning Grant. Students tasted unique foods, such as kale chips, wheat berries, and butternut squash croutons.
