Fill'er Up

In an effort to give back to the community, Big Bay de Noc students and staff will be collecting nonperishable foods, boxed dinners, cereal, and paper products to help people who may need to supplement their food supply this year. Above, Mrs. Gollakner’s second graders are shown with just a few of the empty boxes they hope to fill for the Garden Community Food Pantry. The goal is to collect a ton of items. Food items can be sent to school with students or dropped off at the school office between now and Oct. 29. Second graders include: (front row, from left) Riley Harvey, Jon Foskett, Bryan Price, Abigail Abrams, Derek Denkins, Callie Rochefort. Second row: Tanner Traun, Kyle Ansell, Walter Kahl, Ian Sundling, Katelyn Dekeyser. Third row: Cameron Tatrow, Caleb Jasmin. Back row: Bruce Tufnell.
