George Kroeger Bouschor

George Kroeger Bouschor, 78, formerly of Manistique, Mich., passed away at his home in Baton Rouge, La., on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012.

He was born in Manistique on Dec. 8, 1933, the son of G. Leslie and Lydia Bouschor. He graduated from Manistique High School in 1952 and served in the US Army being stationed in Germany.

George was a resident of Baton Rouge for 32 years. George was a retired millwright who worked at various paper mills including Manistique Papers, mills in Pennsylvania and St. Francisville,

La.

He was a lifetime member and past master of Lakeside Masonic Lodge No. 371 F & AM in Manistique, Scottish Rite, and Ahmed Shiners in Marquette, Mich.

George is survived by his wife, Estelle Louise Bouschor; three children, George Edward Bouschor, John Leslie Bouschor, and Susan Helen (Kevin Ross) Craft; and a brother, Robert Bouschor of Marquette.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
