Bay plans ‘College Night’

High school students welcomed to attend

ESCANABA – Bay College will be holding a College Night program on Sept. 16 on the Escanaba Bay College Campus. The event will be held in the Joseph Heirman University Center beginning at 6:30 p.m.

College Night provides high school juniors, seniors, parents, community college students, and interested individuals in the community an opportunity to meet and talk with college representatives from both instate and out-of state colleges/ universities. Educational opportunities available in the armed services will also be presented.

Over 50 different college/ military representatives from Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois, Ohio and Colorado will be present for the event. The list includes large and small public colleges and universities, private colleges, out-of-state colleges, ROTC programs, and armed services opportunities. The program also includes a financial aid specialist, available to answer questions and provide information applicable to all colleges.

The following colleges and armed services will be represented at College Night 2012: Albion College, Alma College, Aquinas College, Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, Bay College, Cardinal Stritch University, Central Michigan University, Concordia University, Davenport University, Empire Education Group, Ferris State University, Finlandia University, Gogebic Community College, Grand Valley State University, Great Lakes Christian College, Kendall College of Art & Design, Lake Superior State University, Lakeland College, Lawrence Technological University, Lawrence University, Marian College, Michigan State University, Michigan Technological University, North Park University, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Northern Michigan University, Northland College, Northwood University, Oakland University, Ohio Technical College, Paul Mitchell School, Ripon College, Saginaw Valley State University, Saint Mary’s College, Silver Lake College, St. Norbert College, The Art Institute of Michigan, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, University of Wisconsin – Marinette, University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, US Air Force Academy, US Marines, Valparaiso, Western Michigan University, Wisconsin College of Cosmetology.

Printed programs will be available to participants as they arrive on campus.
