Under the hood

The annual Manistique Merchant’s

Car Show took place Saturday, bringing numerous residents and visitors downtown to view the classic offerings. The event kicked off Friday with a “Friday Night

Cruise”, and officially began early

Saturday, with plenty of classic and unique cars and trucks lining the street. Spectators were able to visit other side attractions, such as the Kid’s Tractor Pull, a craft show, bike auction, and a car “blow up” contest. Above, visitors peruse the cars available at the show. At left, a spectator takes a peek inside one of the show cars. See a full list of results from the car show’s judging on page B2.
